ANDRÉS FELIPE BUSTOS ISAZA

Andrés is a Colombian port executive and industrial engineer with more than 30 years of experience in logistics and infrastructure development across Latin America and Europe. He has played a central role in the structuring, financing, and execution of transformative infrastructure projects, combining deep technical expertise with hands-on leadership.

 

Andrés served as Lead Developer + Chief Executive of Puerto Antioquia, where he guided the project through early planning, regulatory approvals, capital raising, and initial construction before stepping down to focus on new project development. His broader experience includes contributions to major infrastructure projects in Colombia, Costa Rica, and Spain, with an emphasis on operational efficiency and stakeholder alignment.

 

Andrés is the Founder and Chairman of PLC, a Colombian firm that develops and operates critical infrastructure in Latin America.

PADRAIC DONAHUE

Paddy is an American private equity investor and former investment banker focused on managing private capital and investments. Before joining Altura, he was a member of the investment team at AHR Growth Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm, where he oversaw the deployment of capital across various portfolio companies and platforms. Prior to his tenure with AHR, Paddy worked in investment banking at William Blair & Company and Deutsche Bank AG, specializing in private equity transactions, M&A advisory, and leveraged finance.

 

Having lived between the US and Colombia for 7+ years, Paddy leverages his experience in private equity and relationships in Latin America and beyond to guide Altura and its investments and manage relationships with investors and key stakeholders across Altura’s portfolio.

ANDRÉS FERNÁNDEZ ACOSTA

Andrés Fernández Acosta is a Colombian investor, executive, and former cabinet minister with more than 30 years of leadership experience across agribusiness, capital markets, and strategic investment. He currently serves as CEO of NatGold Digital and has previously held senior leadership roles at CEBAR and Fundarias NPO. He also held investment leadership positions at Front Street Capital (now part of LOGiQ Asset Management) a Toronto-based investment firm, where he served as Head of Colombian Investments and oversaw the firm’s investments in the country’s mining and minerals sectors.

 

Earlier in his career, Fernández served as Colombia’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development under President Álvaro Uribe and also held the role of Delegated Minister of Commerce. In public service, he played an active role in Colombia’s international trade agenda, including free trade negotiations with Canada and the European Union, and chaired key institutions including Finagro and Banco Agrario de Colombia.

WILLIAM SHEA

Bill is a seasoned American infrastructure investor and transportation-industry executive with deep experience in intermodal logistics, asset-heavy operating platforms, and institutional capital partnerships. He served as Chairman and CEO of DCLI, formerly the chassis leasing division of Maersk, for 12 years before retiring in 2023.

 

Under Bill’s leadership, DCLI partnered with leading global institutional investors including Littlejohn, EQT, Apollo, OMERS, GIC, and Wren House (KIA) scaling the platform into the largest container chassis leasing business in the United States. Bill is widely recognized as the architect of the transportation industry’s “pool of pools” model. Prior to his tenure with DCLI and Maersk, Bill held positions at IBM and Itel Rail Corporation.

 

Bill serves as a Senior Advisor to Altura Infrastructure Partners, providing strategic input and advisory on key fund and investment decisions.
